Shaniece Brown, LMSW

Healing doesn’t need to be done in isolation—it can be a partnership grounded in honesty, collaboration, and mutual respect.

I’m Shaniece, and I support individuals who are tired of carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, and trauma alone. Many of the people I work with are navigating the complex intersections of family conflict, identity development, and professional boundaries, as well as the heavy impact of intergenerational and racial stress. I believe that for many of us, the path to healing involves untangling the messages we’ve been given about who we are supposed to be, so we can finally discover who we actually are.

I have been working in the mental health field since 2012, with a professional background spanning both hospital and community-based settings. Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how limited access to resources and a lack of representation can create deep barriers to care. As a Black woman, I bring a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens to everything I do. I am committed to showing up for my clients in a way that is both supportive and affirming, particularly within communities where mental health is often stigmatized or misunderstood.

My work is rooted in a strengths-based, whole-person approach, aiming to help you develop the self-awareness and coping skills needed to live a life that feels truly aligned. I strive to create a space where you can show up authentically, feel understood, and be supported as you work toward meaningful change. Outside of my clinical work, I value the importance of balance and authenticity, and I strive to bring that same grounded, real-world energy into every session we share.
