Jessica Tran, MA LLC
Starting therapy can feel like a massive hurdle, especially when you’re already feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just unsure of where to even begin. My name is Jessica, and my goal is to help you find where that first step actually is. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults who are navigating the often-turbulent waters of anxiety, emotional regulation, and family stress. For my younger clients, this sometimes shows up as “acting out” or difficulty managing big feelings, and I’m here to help translate those behaviors into understanding. I’ve always been drawn to the early stages of life because I believe that building a strong foundation of emotional awareness now can change the entire trajectory of someone’s future.
My approach was forged in the trenches of outpatient and community-based settings, working in both clinical and case management roles. These experiences taught me that no one exists in a vacuum—we are all shaped by our families, our cultures, and the environments we live in. My work with diverse families and underserved communities has deeply informed my outlook, making my practice trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in seeing you within the full context of your life. I don’t just see a set of symptoms; I see a person navigating a world that can sometimes feel too loud or too heavy.
I value authenticity and collaboration above all else. In our sessions, I strive to create a partnership built on trust, where you feel safe and seen while also being empowered to build the practical tools and deeper insights needed for long-term change. I want our time together to feel like a shared journey, where you gain the confidence to navigate whatever comes next. My hope is that as we work together, you find that the “big step” of starting therapy leads to a much more manageable path forward.
