Danyell Milton, LMSW

When life feels like a series of overwhelming patterns, it can be difficult to know where the stress ends and “you” begin. I work with individuals who are tired of carrying the weight of depression, anxiety, and the persistent inner critic that often accompanies them. Many of the clients I support are navigating complex relationship challenges, the fog of grief, or a sense of being “stuck” in cycles of negative self-talk. I believe therapy is a necessary space to finally slow down—not just to vent, but to begin the intentional work of making sense of your past experiences so they stop dictating your present.

My clinical perspective has grown and developed over 15 years of experience across outpatient therapy, community-based services, and government settings. This diverse background has given me a front-row seat to the way culture, environment, and systemic factors impact our mental health. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach because I’ve seen how trauma and socioeconomic challenges require a deeply nuanced, culturally responsive lens. My role is to provide a steady, nonjudgmental environment where we can look at these factors together, helping you untangle your lived experience from the symptoms you’re feeling.

I view our relationship as a true partnership, balancing warm encouragement with the kind of gentle challenge that sparks growth. At the core of my work are the values of empathy, authenticity, and integrity—meaning I meet you exactly where you are, with zero judgment and a high level of transparency. My hope is that through our work together, you develop a stronger sense of self-worth and the emotional resilience needed to manage life’s hurdles. I want you to leave our sessions not just feeling “heard,” but feeling equipped with the practical tools and clarity to navigate your world with genuine confidence.
